Hosting & Facilitating
While I love storytelling, I also love empowering others to tell their stories and experiences. Through hosting and facilitating, I empower others to share their perspectives and engage with their communities in ways that bring us together and challenge us to grow.
Several years ago, I moderated a panel discussion and follow-up Q&A after the Seattle Rep show Welcome to Braggsville, discussing issues in the show's story.
Additional Arts & Theater Facilitation
I facilitated a workshop on building inclusive arts organizations through the Seattle Cultural Accessibility Consortium.
I served on the (Re)Imagine Theater panel, which brings artists and community leaders together to envision a new theatrical world.
DreamsUnlimited is an interactive multimedia storytelling experience, sharing inspiration, hopes, and dreams through films, photos, live music, spoken word performances, and traditional oral storytelling. I joined local and regional artists, coming together across disciplines with the intention to grow and build community.
Civic & Social Facilitation
In 2021, I hosted a discussion for Seattle's mayoral race candidates to discuss their arts policy plans.
This is a workshop I spoke at regarding Performative Allyship vs Anti Racism through the organization Seattle Antiracism.
Kitchen Talk is real talk with a fun and light-hearted approach. My former colleague Nina Yarbrough and I join a girlfriends’ check-in, inspired by Oprah.
